Please suggest topics that you want me to write

I used to have a .NET blog previously at the same URL. The .NET blog was active for 6 years before I switched to WordPress last year. After the move to WordPress, I am writing articles on React ecosystem. If you are a reader of my blog and / or came to the page accidentally, I want to request you to comment on what topics you want to see in the blog.

Topic areas

The topic areas that I like to write about are:

  1. React
  2. React Native
  3. Redux
  4. Mobx
  5. Firebase
  6. MongoDB
  7. Relay
  8. AWS
  9. TensorFlow
  10. Node
  11. Socket.io
  12. JavaScript

If there is a specific topic, that you like to read in the blog, please comment below. For example, the next two topics that I am planning to write are:

  1. Push notifications in React native
  2. Display images from Gallery in a React native app

I like to write about things when I feel like writing something and when I have 30 minutes of time to write :).  So, some of your requests may take a while to see it in the blog. But it is worth a try. Maybe, you can post your question in StackOverflow and comment here to see if I can come up with something more concrete than a SO answer.

As a thanks for suggesting the topic, please provide an URL that you want me to backlink to or your top-level blog URL.

I will mention your blog URL as:

Suggested by Dan Abramov

Or if it is a backlink URL, I will include text such as:

Dan Abramov has an interesting opinion on why you may not need Redux.

I will also appreciate if you comment in my other articles where you need clarification. This will help me improve the article. However, if it is an old .NET article, I won’t be able to edit. I have moved to Mac and not using Visual Studio Professional any more.

Thanks and hope to see your valuable inputs.

  1. Hi Vijay,

Material UI is an interesting stuff I have used with Angular 4 in my project. There is very less documents and examples available but it very important and useful. Can your experience if any on the same?

    Thanks

    1. Thanks Amit. For React, we use material-ui npm package. It is quite straight forward in React. I don’t work in Angular. If I encounter some nice material-ui use case, I will write about it.

  2. Hi Vijay,
As you are practicing independent developer I like your posts on soft skills around this area. In that lines I really would want you write on below topics:
    1. challenges to become independent developer. how did you managed to get first project (did you started to work for clients in parallel? financial challenges, social expectations etc)
    2. how is it to work remotely when you are alone? are there challenges as you have no social connections? 3. if you have any lessons to share as you have already crossed the path?
    4. technology is out paced faster, if you specialize on some specific set of technologies how do you stay relevant?

    On the technical side:
    1. Relevance of Machine learning in JS
    2. UX on React Native. There seems to be no Material Design library on RN. How is native UX better than material
    3. Flexbox
    4. Deep linking in mobile apps
    5. Deployment experiences with RN (like code push)
    6. Comparing Firebase with MongoDB (when to use what)

Thanks for your blog and effort to share.

    Regards,
    Madhan
